Leiterplattenfinish bezeichnet \u2013 ist eine d\u00fcnne metallische oder organische Schicht, die der Leiterplattenhersteller auf die Kupferfl\u00e4chen der Bauteileanschl\u00fcsse (L\u00f6tpads) auftr\u00e4gt. Da nat\u00fcrliches Kupfer an der Luft zum Oxidieren neigt, w\u00e4re das L\u00f6ten der Bauteile nur schwer oder nicht zuverl\u00e4ssig m\u00f6glich. Die L\u00f6toberfl\u00e4che deckt das freiliegende Kupfer auf der Leiterplatte ab und verhindert somit die Korrosion des Kupfers. So l\u00e4sst sich die L\u00f6tbarkeit von Leiterplatten innerhalb des gew\u00e4hrleisteten Lagerzeitraums unter den definierten Lagerbedingungen bewahren.<\/p><h2><strong>Wie l\u00e4uft die Oberfl\u00e4chenbeschichtung ab?<\/strong><\/h2><p>Die L\u00f6toberfl\u00e4che wird vom Leiterplattenhersteller nach dem \u00c4tzprozess der Leiterbildstruktur partiell auf die Bauteileanschl\u00fcsse aufgetragen. Als Standardverfahren f\u00fcr das Aufbringen einer L\u00f6toberfl\u00e4che kommt die chemische Metallisierung zum Einsatz. Zuvor wird im vorgelagerten Prozessschritt L\u00f6tstopplack partiell auf die Oberfl\u00e4che der Leiterplatte aufgebracht. Der L\u00f6tstopplack l\u00e4sst nur die L\u00f6t- und Kontaktfl\u00e4chen frei und wirkt als Abdeckung f\u00fcr den darauffolgenden Prozess der Oberfl\u00e4chenbeschichtung.<\/p><p>Wichtig zu wissen ist, dass die Endoberfl\u00e4che nur die L\u00f6tfl\u00e4chen der Bauteile sowie K\u00fchlfl\u00e4chen und Kontaktfl\u00e4chen bedeckt, die von Bauteilen genutzt werden. Trotz Beschichtung bleibt Kupfer das eigentliche elektrisch leitende Metall auf der Oberfl\u00e4che von Leiterplatten.<\/p><h2><strong>Wie w\u00e4hlt man die richtige L\u00f6toberfl\u00e4che aus? <\/strong><\/h2><p>Eine universelle L\u00f6sung f\u00fcr die \u201ebeste L\u00f6toberfl\u00e4che\u201c gibt es nicht. Alle L\u00f6toberfl\u00e4chen haben St\u00e4rken und Schw\u00e4chen. In Europa sind folgende Endoberfl\u00e4chen am meisten verbreitet:<\/p><ul><li>Chemisch Nickel\/Gold (chem. NiAu, ENIG)<\/li><li>Chemisch Zinn (chem. Sn)<\/li><li>OSP (Organic Solderability Preservative, Organic Surface Protection)<\/li><li>Hei\u00dfluftverzinnung (HAL: Hot Air Leveling)<\/li><li>Chemisch Silber (chem. Ag)<\/li><\/ul><p>Folgende Entscheidungskriterien sollten bei der Wahl der Endoberfl\u00e4che ber\u00fccksichtigt werden:<\/p><ul><li>Anzahl der L\u00f6tprozesse<\/li><li>Elektrischer Funktionstest<\/li><li>Bondf\u00e4higkeit<\/li><li>Eignung f\u00fcr Steckverbinder und Einpresstechnik<\/li><li>Lagerf\u00e4higkeit der Leiterplatten<\/li><li>Eignung f\u00fcr Fine-Pitch-Anwendungen<\/li><\/ul><p>Bei der Entscheidungsfindung der geeigneten L\u00f6toberfl\u00e4che gilt es, die Anwendung und Verarbeitung der Leiterplatte bei der Bauteilemontage mit einzubeziehen. Denn die L\u00f6toberfl\u00e4che kann sich direkt auf den Best\u00fcckungsprozess, die Qualit\u00e4t, Zuverl\u00e4ssigkeit und Langlebigkeit auswirken. Eine wichtige Voraussetzung f\u00fcr den sp\u00e4teren L\u00f6tprozess ist eine homogene Oberfl\u00e4che f\u00fcr die Bauteileanschl\u00fcsse. Insbesondere Fine-Pitch-Bauteile setzen eine d\u00fcnne, planare Beschichtung der L\u00f6tpads voraus.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
