Les mat\u00e9riaux de base se composent d'une matrice de r\u00e9sine, de charges et de tissus de verre incorpor\u00e9s. La matrice de r\u00e9sine du mat\u00e9riau de base obtient sa qualit\u00e9 finale lors du processus de pressage des circuits imprim\u00e9s (durcissement des pr\u00e9impr\u00e9gn\u00e9s). Une baisse marqu\u00e9e du module de stockage, associ\u00e9e \u00e0 un pic du module de perte, indique la Tg, o\u00f9 le mat\u00e9riau passe d'un \u00e9tat vitreux \u00e0 un \u00e9tat caoutchouteux. Le DMA fournit donc des informations compl\u00e8tes sur le comportement m\u00e9canique du mat\u00e9riau du circuit imprim\u00e9 (rigidit\u00e9, amortissement) sur une large plage de temp\u00e9ratures et est tr\u00e8s sensible \u00e0 la d\u00e9tection des transitions, m\u00eame si celles-ci sont tr\u00e8s faibles. La DMA peut fournir des donn\u00e9es de module qui sont utiles pour la sp\u00e9cification m\u00e9canique. Un inconv\u00e9nient est la pr\u00e9paration et l'ex\u00e9cution relativement plus complexes du test.
