Elle consiste \u00e0 soumettre les composants \u00e0 des changements de temp\u00e9rature rapides, par exemple entre -40 et +150 \u00b0C en seulement 30 secondes. Lors du transfert des circuits imprim\u00e9s de la chambre froide \u00e0 la chambre chaude, les fissures thermom\u00e9caniques dans les interconnexions s'agrandissent. Ce proc\u00e9d\u00e9 est \u00e9galement applicable aux microvias.
