in Gornsdorf, Erzgebirge (approx. 30 min from Chemnitz)

Your main tasks:

  • Safe, professional handling of hazardous substances
  • plan, carry out and evaluate chemical analyses
  • Prepare and maintain measuring equipment for chemical analyses
  • Monitor stocks of replacement parts and chemicals and forward orders or requirements as needed
  • plan, carry out and evaluate metallographic examinations and physical tests
  • advise the client on suitable preparation and analysis methods for special orders (e.g. development projects, complaint processing)

The focus of this demanding job is the processing of complaints, including root cause analysis in cooperation with the relevant departments and the preparation of the corresponding documentation. 

Your main tasks:

  • Processing complaints and determining the causes in cooperation with the responsible production units and other areas
  • Creation of 8-D reports 
  • Evaluation of complaint statistics
  • Creation of test documents, e.g. work and test instructions 
  • Implementation of effectiveness checks and audits of the measures
  • Monitoring compliance with specifications and creating and updating error pattern catalogs
  • Contact person for customers regarding product problems, if necessary in coordination with the relevant departments

A process technician is responsible for the Monitoring, control and optimization of industrial production processes responsible.

In this profession, you will learn how to Machines and systems operatedefficiently designed workflows and Quality controls is carried out. You will also learn Control production processes and simple Maintenance and servicing to be carried out. Planning the use of tools, materials and auxiliary materials is also part of the training. 

It's an exciting job for Technology enthusiasts, who enjoy practical work and solving technical problems. Training as a process technician offers Excellent prospects for the futureas the industry is constantly on the lookout for well-trained specialists. You can also expect an attractive salary after your apprenticeship, which will continue to rise with increasing experience and responsibility.
